Customers may arrange for pick up using their own freight carriers. Cherner will supply weight and dimensions of shipment and will pack orders according to purchaser’s requirements. Fees may apply for packing materials and other special packing requirements.
An estimated ship date will be provided to you by Cherner with your order confirmation. Transit time is dependent on shipment method and location of delivery. Cherner will also notify you via electronic mail with tracking and other delivery information when orders are shipped.
Cherner utilizes LTL carries (Old Dominion, Yellow Freight, Pilot Freight Services) and small parcel carriers (UPS and FedEx) for its deliveries.
White Glove Shipping
For residential deliveries arranged by Cherner, “White Glove” service is mandatory for those products which must be shipped on a pallet (due to size or weight) and may require some assembly requiring more than 1 person. This service includes a delivery appointment, placement in room of choice, unpacking, light assembly (if needed) and removal of all packaging materials. You are responsible for inspecting all products for damage when you receive your order. Deliveries arriving with obvious signs should be refused and the damage noted with the driver. The following products are shipped White Glove:

For deliveries to non-residential locations, the purchaser may request “Threshold Service” for these products, but purchaser will be responsible for inspecting orders for damage upon receipt of delivery. Claims for shipping or concealed damage will not be accepted after 5 days from the delivery date.
Standard Threshold Deliveries
Cherner utilizes LTL carries (Old Dominion, Yellow Freight, Pilot Freight Services) and small parcel carriers (UPS and FedEx) for “threshold” deliveries. These deliveries are made to the front door only and do not include any installation or debris removal. Customer will be provided with tracking information when orders are shipped.
The following items are shipped using Threshold Service:
White Glove service is available upon request at an additional charge. Some rural locations may incur additional freight charges.
International Delivery/Freight Charges
In most cases, shipments for orders outside the contiguous 48 United States shall be the responsibility of the purchaser. Purchaser is responsible for the cost of freight from point of embarkation, including any handling and transportation charges incidental to loading at the point of departure and unloading at the final destination.
Conditions beyond the control of Seller, including weather, available facilities and traffic conditions, may affect exact time of delivery. Seller shall not be responsible for specific carrier delivery date or time unless it has made a specific delivery commitment, in writing.
